We were looking for new counter tops for a new kitchen, and we found some really good quality quartz that Rock and Co had, the manager at the Cambridge store helped us pick out which slabs we needed, and we were given a time frame which let us know how soon they could cut these and have them ready for installation. The installation was really well done as the crew took their time and assessed the counter tops and where they were going to be installed, did a careful and thorough job of cutting the upstarts and also the caulking and glue used to fix the counter tops to our kitchen setup, we also were given 2 quartz pieces as cutting boards to boot! I couldn’t recommend this company enough! From our first dealings with Paul who helped us through the minefield of different types of rock and makes, followed by the templating. We made a small change at a very late stage but that didn’t stop Chloe delaying the installation date for us! “Very impressive experience from start to finish. We were invited to go to the Cambridge base to select our quartz slab (out of which our kitchen worktop would be made). We took a sample of our kitchen unit colour so that we could visualise the end result. We paid a deposit to have the selected slab to be reserved for us until our kitchen was ready for the amazing templating process. An experienced templating specialist visited to survey the kitchen and used very sophisticated software and the latest laser measuring technology to capture accurately every contour of the walls surrounding the work top. This data was captured on a memory card and then transferred to a special cutting machine that, without any further human intervention, cutout the shape of our kitchen. When the installation team arrived 10 days later – as arranged – the three sections fitted exactly! The administration and communication processes were excellent with great attention to detail. Its taken a couple of weeks but they have resolved my problem satisfactorily and gone out of their way to ensure I finished up as a happy customer. I have to take my hat off to them for that. The gentleman who came today to replace part of the worktop was extremely conscientious and has made a very good job of fixing the issue. David at the Cambridge office has been very helpful throughout and I would now be happy to recommend their services. I am now very pleased with my finished product. I have upgraded the review from 1 to 4 stars. It would have been 5 if I had received an earlier response to my phone calls and emails when the problem first arose but they have now handled it very well. Rock & Co were recommended to me by a friend. I’ve visited a couple of quartz providers and obtained some online quotes but I wasn’t convinced that they were taking note of all the details of my kitchen plan and was concerned about unexpected costs later on. I visited Rock & Co today and Adam was really friendly and made me feel at ease. The showroom is well stocked and provides a nice, clean environment to view the different quartz options. They also have huge slabs outside on display which is really useful as obviously more indicative of the final look that will be achieved. Rock & Co provided a comprehensive quote and I was impressed with Adam’s attention to detail. They worked really hard to provide the look I was after at a price I could afford. Adam also gave me lots of samples to take away. There is a price branding system which meant I was able to confirm my quote price but have a little more time to deliberate over which exact colour for a few more weeks. I got made a hot coffee too which always helps the buying experience ? I will add another review post install but so far so good. Google

Rock & Co are highly recommended. They are an extremely professional operation, courteous and efficient. We visited their showroom to choose they type of worktop to go for. We spoke to Paul and Mani, both of whom were polite and helpful and they both stayed late on a Saturday afternoon to help us. We were taught about the different factors to consider (colour, sheen, durability, thickness, profile of edging, number of slabs etc). We were offered a competitive price which is all inclusive (VAT, installation, cutting, deliver etc). We were able to earmark and label two slabs on site so that we knew they were there and available to us. The quality of the product and installation is superb. There were entirely faithful to their timetable and process. In fact, we had to postpone them twice and they were very accommodating about pushing back the measurement date. I initially spoke to Paul in the sales team about our requirements and obtained a quote. I visited the shop that weekend and Paul stayed past closing time to assist me in questions I had and options available. I then placed my order. After placing my order I had a few extra questions and spoke to Nikki who was personable and helpful. Nikki made sure to call me back when promised to kept me updated on the status of my order. Mike and Frazier were my fitters and although there was an error on one of template measurements, the piece was re-cut , delivered and fitted within a couple of days. I was recommended by a friend to use Rock and Co and I can see why, from start to finish Rock and Co was impeccable! the showroom is amazing as it has every colour which is available to order on show. From the moment we entered the showroom to look at the different worktops nothing was to much trouble for the folks at Rock & Co. We’d been badly let down and needed a quartz worktop in a very short timescale. We needed Rock & Co to work within the timescales of our kitchen fitters and they were flexible enough to work to someone else’s schedule.

The choice was easy and with the expert guidance from Paul we selected the surface that best suited our needs.

Next came the detailed and accurate laser measurements, these we’re handled with ease and some options to customise our kitchen were discussed and agreed.
Less than a week later (and this include the 2 Easter bank holidays) the fitters arrived with our very carefully wrapped quartz surfaces. These, the upstands and windows sill were fitted with skill and speed. The fitters were finished within 2 hours and on their way…

We now have the kitchen we wanted and the worktops from Rock & Co look fantastic.

I have no reservations recommending Rock & Co to sort ALL of your work surface needs, they can discuss your requirements and then give you their expert recommendations, but they will always be guided by the customer’s wishes.

The team in the workshop know their ‘onions’, the installations team are very professional and carry out the installs to a very high standard. I’d decided, based on quotes from Wickes, that there was no way I’d be able to afford a granite worktop for my new kitchen. But that said, I wasn’t that impressed with the alternatives, especially seeing as I needed one that was deeper than standard.. As it happens, I came across Rock & Co in the internet purely by accident – and I’m so glad I did. Being local, I popped into the showroom and was instantly impressed, particularly by the friendliness and knowledge of both reception and technical staff, which was topped only by the astonishing quote I was given, half that of Wickes. A no-brainer, particularly as it was to be made to measure and installed, including splash-backs, at no additional cost. The equally cheerful fitters attended as scheduled, dealt with all the installation issues in their stride and 3 hours later I was the proud owner of 4 perfectly fitted and impressive-looking granite worktops, setting off my kitchen beautifully. That was 4 months ago and it still looks as pristine as it did on day 1. Thank you Rock & Co, I can’t recommend you highly enough!!! – 22/10/16

What can I say? We urgently required a Quartz worktop, having been let down by a supplier. My parents recommended Rock & Co (having used them themselves) and so I called up in the hope that they could assist. I dealt with Anthony in the main. A smashing chap who inspires trust and confidence. Anthony came over that morning, having juggled his diary to fit us in. He brought samples along and we chose what we wanted. He gave us a (fantastic) price there and then and said that, because they keep that particular style of Quartz in their workshop, it was available with a very short lead time. That same afternoon, he sent Jake to do the (high-tech digital) templating and the worktops were installed the following Thursday (6 days later). The installation is exceptional. The installers were a dream to deal with and the whole experience with Rock & Co was utterly faultless. It goes without saying that I would recommend them in a heartbeat. Very high quality fitting, stones and good customer service through the actual fitting process. we had a quartz kitchen worktop fitted. But you need to make sure that your kitchen fitter has not made the slightest mistake in setting up the kitchen unit, as Rock & Co have a very high min. call out charge (approx £800) if you need them to carry out any corrective work however small the actual job is. I didn’t use them in the end but it left a very bitter taste, as i would have expected a better service having spent several thousand pounds. – 20/10/16 (Google)

I wasn’t sure at first what Granite company to use in Cambridge, I saw on the Rock and Co website that they operate in my area so I thought I would give them a call. I am very impressed with my worktops, Michael did a great job installing them and the Granite looks amazing.

We had to think long and hard about a new kitchen. we decided a decent worktop would do. Ant gave us a guided tour of the showroom and whilst expensive we agreed to go ahead. The survey guy measured up the hob and setting out of the tops in minutes, we were cautious about the accuracy. They wanted all the money up front which was scary but on the day when the fitters turned up the old tops came away and the new ones fitted like a glove. we gave dimensions for the new under top sink and they slotted this into place easily. Have to say we were delighted, I’ve seen some poor tops on some schemes we have done and was worried that things could be difficult but Ant had it covered and the top look great. – 05/10/16 (Google)

Well, our work-surfaces are installed with templating and fitting to the timescales we had agreed. They look totally wonderful. But that is what we expected.

Regarding the two templaters/fitters – they were absolutely superb. It was very nice to see that the two of your staff who templated also did the machining. (so they knew what was possible).
These same two people also installed the surfaces and they came prepared to suggest how to improve on what we had specified, particularly with respect to the up-stands.

Overall we are totally satisfied and would like to thank your on-site staff for their great professionalism.

We want to thank Rock & Co for transforming our kitchen. We have been working on our kitchen since April and it has been a lot of hard work, builders knocking down walls and stress. But we finally feel relieved of all this stress with our beautiful new Quartz Worktops installed yesterday.

Dear Anthony, wanted to let you know how delighted we are with the worktop. It meets all of our expectations and has transformed the kitchen. Jack and James did a great job despite all the problems removing the old worktop and it fitted perfectly so Jake produced excellent templates. Will recommend Rock & Co to anybody needing a new worktop!

Jake and his team have done a wonderful job with our worktop. They were a delight to work with, and persevered to get the longer piece of quartz up the stairs when it looked as though they might have to cut it. Simply getting the two large pieces into the flat took well over an hour – they worked really hard.

The transformation is magical and Julie, especially, is very pleased. The worktops go really well with the smokey-blue kitchen doors. Now all I’ve got to do is finish the trims on the units!
